Hello. My name is Kenya. I just got out of my bed and I am brushing my teeth right about now. I am getting dressed to go to my school.

Welcome to the city that never sleeps. New York!

My school is on 84^th street in Columbus. I take the school bus to school. My school is Public School #9. By my school is the Museum of Natural History. One day, beg your parents to go to the Museum of Natural History because it is so cool. Also next to my school is Central Park. Central Park is where they have big events like on Easter they had the big Easter Egg Hunt. It happens every year. I went there and I had a blast. Next year when it is Easter, why don’t you go and check it out. There is also a camp that will be starting in Central Park. Make sure to sign up for it because it will be so much fun. Have you tried the parks in Central Park? My favorite park is the Sand Park where there is nothing but sand. Try the park with the swings. It is fun too. Also, by my school is by Broadway. It is a broad street that is usually busy .A few blocks away is a Movie Theater. It is called Loews. See any movie, buy buttery popcorn and eat all of the candy that you want. Oooooops! I forgot to mention that the Brandies high school is right across from our school.

A block away is a coffee shop "Starbucks". My teacher loves to buy her coffee from there and if you are an adult, you will love your coffee from there too. At least every five blocks in NYC there is a hotdog stand. Umm! Yummy! That is unbelievable!

Have you ever gone to Yankees Stadium? It is so cool. I sat in the top row where I almost caught a homerun ball. But it bounced off my seat and sank deep into the crowd. I went home with an angry face, but then my dad bought my sister and I a lot of popcorn. Then I was so happy.
